The fifth Southern Workshop in Empirical Political Science (SoWEPS) will be hosted in person by Rice University on Friday, May 13th from 11am to 4:20 pm CT. We have selected an exciting set of five empirical papers addressing important questions, and a great line-up of discussants and session chairs from all across the South. See the agenda below.
Faculty and graduate students from universities based in the Southeast (broadly defined) are welcome to join. This format works best with a committed group of participants who both give and receive comments throughout the day. Graduate students who participate without presenting will be given priority as presenters in future SoWEPS conferences.
We hope to see many of you on May 13th!
